"Baron, our big Bernese Mountain dog, was bored — bored hanging around the house all day with the cats - bored standing around on the concrete and looking at a fence at doggie day care. He needed and deserved something more. Vermont Dog Pack Camp has been a Godsend. Baron (and us) look forward all week to the days when he goes out with Rhonda and the pack. We know it and he knows it. He can't wait to get into her vehicle to go on another adventure and come back....well, can we say it...........dog tired! Our only question is what did he do all day to end up in this contented state? So far he's still not speaking, but Rhonda's great videos and photos on Facebook tell the story. He has a fraternity of four-legged friends that are enjoying their short lives to its fullest. "Vermont Dog Pack Camp is wonderful! Coming off of two years as a graduate student, when I could make my own schedule and take Luna for romping adventures in the middle of the day, I was worried about her getting enough exercise this fall when I started a full-time job. Now Luna goes with Rhonda Mondays and Wednesdays and I come home those evenings to a very tired and content pup! It is so reassuring to know that Luna is spending her afternoons with someone who genuinely cares about each of the dogs she walks and enjoys what she does. Rhonda leaves progress reports to let me know how Luna is behaving, she uploads videos and photos of the dog packs having a blast in the woods, and I know that she shares my values when it comes to healthy dogs and active lifestyles. “You want to go to Camp?”- This is what I say to our Basset Hound, Duke on the days Rhonda comes and picks him to go to VT Dog Pack. He gets so excited and will watch out the window to look for Rhonda’s car- he absolutely loves Rhonda and the camp-goers. I love that Rhonda is so passionate with all of the dogs and will take the time to work with each dog individually teaching them pack leader training, recall, as well as working on improving some behaviors. Duke is a hound and is known to take off when he is onto a scent, but Rhonda’s recall training has helped immensely! Just the other night, Duke ran off to track a scent and I didn’t notice he was gone until a few minutes, so I started calling him and within 30 seconds, he came running back to the house! I was so proud of him and I could tell he was proud of himself too! VT Dog Pack has really built Duke’s confidence and agility- Thank you Rhonda for your passion and commitment!! Vermont Dog Pack might be the best thing that ever happened to my dog! Her little eyes light up the moment Rhonda pulls in to pick her up and she comes home well exercised and often with better manners than she left with! The report cards she gets at the end of each walk help me to determine what direction to take with her training and let me know if she is making progress. Rhonda also puts a lot of effort into determining which dogs make up each "pack" to ensure that each dog gets the most out of their outdoor adventure. Not to mention the convenience of having my dog picked up and returned home while I'm at work!

"Our mini poodle Axel gets so excited when he sees Rhonda come through the door for his weekly hike that he can hardly contain himself. Rhonda communicates regularly about how he does with the other dogs and with the people they encounter on their hikes. We see pictures on FB and videos in emails and we can see why he is excited because he is having so much fun! He comes home tired and satisfied. We are so happy to have a local Dog Whisperer to help us keep our athletic dog happy and socialized. "We love Vermont Dog Pack for Grrilla Love because she gets so much exercise and has such a great time socializing with the other dogs. She goes to camp with Rhonda twice a week and absolutely loves it! She enjoys swimming and running with the other dogs and loves being around Rhonda - she is so excited to get picked up for camp in the morning! Rhonda posts pictures regularly so we actually get to see what a great time the dogs are having at camp.
