Rhonda and Rachel Bilodeau

Rhonda is a native Vermonter and has always had a passion for animals. She always thought a hike was not worth taking unless you had at least one dog. She decided to make her passion her profession when she started her own dog walking company in May 2007. She started Vermont Dog Pack, LLC based on the philosophy that dogs need jobs. She offered 'customized dog walks for your unique dog' that included hiking, swimming, dog scootering, carrying backpacks, biking, and off-leash running. Rhonda still has that same philosophy but realized she needed more time outside to really fulfill a dog's need.

In June of 2010 she started Vermont Dog Pack Camp believing that it provides more time to tire your dogs out and in a supportive environment with pack friendly dogs. She started Pack Leader Walks to promote a well adjusted and balanced pack.  In August of 2010 she completed the PetSaver and Pet CPR and First Aid training through Pet Tech.

Her personal goal is to learn how to live in the moment (like dogs) and use energy to teach dogs how to behave appropriately in the pack. She's open to new techniques and training methods to learn as much about dogs as she can. In just 1 year at camp she logs 1,248+ hours of supervising, playing, training, observing animal behavior and learning how to speak dog with her body and energy.

In her spare time Rhonda enjoys dog sledding, snowboarding, yoga, biking, hiking, painting, camping, cross country skiing and hanging out with her partner Mike of 8 years. Together they have a dog named Gabby (lab mix) whom she adopted at 6 months of age in February of 2008. On November 11th they took in Mike's late father's dog Jake (yellow lab, 6 years old). Jake goes to work with Mike at Burton Snowboards.

Rachel has been working for Vermont Dog Pack since December of 2007. She attended Castleton State College and has a 7 year old black lab / Brittany spaniel dog named Willow. Rachel's passion in life is traveling the world. She has been to many places but while in Vermont her hobbies include hiking, seeing live music, snowboarding, rock climbing, snow shoeing and being a wonderful sister.
